The Walk
It was a Saturday morning and I had no particular reason to be there.
Someone said "let's walk" and I said yes the way you say yes to things when the week has been long and you need air that doesn't smell like an office. We ended up in Kimihurura. The route was already drawn: parliament, the KCC roundabout, Centenary Park, the inner loop, the roundabout park at the end. 3.2 kilometres. Forty-five minutes. I didn't know I had been missing it.
